In this experience we’ll enjoy 5 amazing days in Yucatan. When you try our unique gastronomy you’ll figure out why it is one the finest in the world. Following, you are going to witness a magical place: Chichén Itzá! An impressive archeological site.
Also, you will get the experience of swimming in the blue waters of a cenote in Tsukán -Sanctuary of Life. Additionally, you’ll meet the First Magical Town in the whole country: Izamal! It has that magical charm you’ve been looking for. To close with a flourish, your journey will end up in the estuary and beach of Celestún. Don’t wait any longer, Yucatan is your next destination!
Itinerary
Day 1. - Probaditas Yucatecas Gourmet (City and dinner tour)
Enjoy an experience designed for travelers who are interested in our traditional Yucatecan cuisine.
We’ll begin our journey at Monumento a la Patria at 6 p.m., which is located on Paseo de Montejo Avenue. Throughout the tour on foot, we are having a special storytelling about the construction of this main and important avenue, one of the most important highlights, and local symbol from Merida. Also, without missing the reference to the henequen, a key element for the creation of this famous avenue.
While we head to “El Remate de Montejo” (a lightful market starting in the evening), alongside the walking from the Remate de Montejo, you will try different sweet appetizers, such as the well-known marquesitas! An ice-cream or a delicious champola (a type of milk shake) at Dulcería y Sorbetería Colón, an iconic ice-cream store. Their ice-creams are water-based; coconut, mamey, soursop and mango are the favorite flavors from our visitors.
Nonetheless… You’ve got to make some room for the main course. Enjoy the handcrafted beer experience with a five-course pairing dinner whilst you look at the amazing view of the Cathedral from the restaurant’s terrace.
Itinerary
- 06:00 p.m. Meeting point: Merida’s name stand in front of the Monumento a la Patria.
- 06:10 p.m. Walking-tour through Paseo de Montejo. We walk up to Sorbetería Colón, we’ll
- stop there for an ice-cream or a champola.
- 07:40 p.m. Transportation to a restaurant’s terrace for a five-course meal.
- 07:50 p.m. Arrival at the restaurant.
- 10:00 p.m. Transportation to your hotel.
Day 2- Chichén Itzá + Tsukán Sanctuary of Life (cenote).
Travel around the grandiose archeological site of Chichén Itzá, one of the New 7 Wonders of World, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2007.
We will be at El Caracol, or the Observatory, The Ball Court complex, the Plaza of a Thousand Columns, Temple of the Warriors, and the Sacred Cenote. Discover with us one of the most impressive places from the Mayan culture.
Additionally, live-up and enjoy the experience at Tzukán (Mayan Snake), Sanctuary of life, where you’ll have a magical journey which will put you in contact with the natural treasure of Yucatan. If you want, you can even enjoy the unique large blue waters. You won’t regret it.

- 08:00 a.m. Meeting point: Paseo 60 (mall).
- 08:10 a.m. Transportation to Archeological Site, Chichen Itzá.
- 10:00 a.m. Arrival to Chichen Itzá for a trip (guide: not included).
- 12:00 p.m. Transportation to Tsukán - Sanctuary of life
- 14:30 p.m. Time for meal at Tsukán (food expenses: not included).
- 16:00 p.m. Return to Merida.

Day 3- Izamal, the Magical Yellow Town (City Tour on quad bikes)
The first Magic Town of Yucatan: Izamal, it is city distinguished by its yellow colors on their buildings, and white color, as well. Thanks to the citizen: the distinguished people and their committed police force, Izamal expresses that charm and elegance from the colonial times.
Enjoy a trip full of spirit, one Magic Town of the finest: lovely plazas, parks and its colonial architecture. Get your phone camera ready for the stories! Don’t forget to visit San Antonio de Padua ex-convent.
Itinerary:
- 09:00 a.m. Departure from the hotel and transportation to Izamal, Magical Town.
- 10:30 a.m. Arrival into Rinconada del Convento Hotel to start the trip on quad bikes.
- 11:00 a.m. Tour on Izamal.
- Izamal, the City of the Hills, is located right in the center of the Yucatan Peninsula; it could be the oldest city belonging to the Mayan World. In this Magical City, 5 grand pyramids stand, the main one named Kinich Kakmó, as well as El Conejo, Habuk, Kabul and Izamatul.
- Since all its buildings are painted yellow and the main attraction is the Franciscan convent of San Antonio de Padua is considered a colonial jewelry. The Convent, which has the largest atrium in Latin America, is the most important reminder of the Spanish Conquest, because, during this period, it was built on top of an ancient Mayan pyramid.
- 01:00 p.m. Time for meals in a Local Restaurante: we recommend Kinich or Zamná. (Food expenses not included)
- 03:00 p.m. Return to Merida. We'll be back at the hotel around 4:30 p.m.
Day 4- Celestún
Celestún, a paradisiac eco-tourist spot that belongs to Yucatan. It has an exceptional landscape embodied in the world’s natural heritage that exists in this biosphere reserve: Reserva de la Biosfera Ría Celestún.
Let’s go to the spring el Tambor (the drums), you will be able to contemplate the beautifulness and attractiveness that the pink(Caribbean) flamingo has; an extraordinary population only known in North America that link up Ria de Celestún as a feeding, resting and meeting point for the flamingos. The flamingos that you can find at Celestún are definitely the pinkest ones in all over the world. Join us to have this experience by boat! (guide: not included).
